My Year of Gratitude – Week Twenty-Four

11/6/11.

Thank you to Georgiana for just being fabulous.  I had so much fun today dancing with Buns and Roses (aided by Rob and Al), and eating the wonderful sandwiches and cakes you provided at the vintage day.  You are a star. 🙂
Thanks too to Gav for keeping me going at our gig tonight, and to the hot chocolate with extra sugar, which also helped! x

12/6/11.

Thank you to Andy for playing so wonderfully at Lounge today – I look forward to our next gig, and hope we won’t have to contend with as much next-door-private-party noise on that occasion!
Thank you too to all those private party guests for keeping me entertained with your costumes – you looked great!  I particularly enjoyed being hit on mid-song by the pig – it was amusingly apt. 😉 x

13/6/11.

Thank you to food – both healthy food, like the apple I ate for breakfast and the corn on the cob I had for lunch, and the unhealthy, like the thousands of minieggs I have munched my way through today.  I realise how very lucky I am to have you all, at all, and in abundance. x

14/6/11.

Thank you to people who apologise for their actions, even if it seems the moment has passed.  It rarely has, as I always appreciate it. x

15/6/11.

Thank you to Headingley Music Festival for booking Solaris for a gig this evening – we had a lot of fun. 🙂
Thank you too to Seb and Theo for escorting me back to my car as it was getting dark and I would have been a little scared on my own. 🙂 x

16/6/11.

Thank you to Georgiana for setting up Buns and Roses 2+ years ago and being pretty much the sole reason I am a member of the WI.  I look forward to reading your new blog and drinking cocktails with you more often, now you have more spare time. 🙂 x

17/6/11.

Thank you to Elly, Natalie and Sam for a lovely pre-Lindy drink and a much-needed gossip/moan. 😉
Thank you too to Rob and Al for today’s Lindy Fridays class.  I really enjoyed it, and am a little amused that you started my 24th week of thanks with a fun class, and then rounded it off with a brilliant one too – it creates a lovely symmetry to my often sporadic world. 🙂 x

Please learn why I’m doing this HERE.  Thank you. 🙂
