My Year of reConnection – Week Twenty-Eight

At the beginning of the year, I set myself a challenge of sending a piece of post to someone every day. I haven’t been great at blogging about it in a timely fashion, but I have continued doing so – even when I’m on holiday!

.

Juicy Lucy cards are just lovely. They always make me smile when I see them in shops so I figure they must do the same when people receive them in the post. I like to make people smile. 🙂

.

Strangely enough, this card is actually from Morrisons. I think it’s beautiful – I hope the recipient thought so too!

.

On the 2nd Monday of every month, a big band play in Ackroyd Street WMC in Morley. There are lots of older dancers who go and do ballroom dancing there. I think it’s fantastic.

.

So, I’m in California! And the first card is a thank you to Wave Media Productions, as the last thing I did in Leeds (when I was supposed to be packing!) was a recording session for them! They were very lovely and helped me do it in super-quick time!

.

My first real day in CA. I found a beautiful vintage postcard. Not knowing when Jane’s birthday its, I sent it anyway. I didn’t want to write on it though, so I put it in with a letter. 🙂

.

I WENT TO DISNEY. It was so exciting (I’m a geek). I sent this postcard to my house for Smithers, who was feeding Hendricks. It was actually the last card to arrive in the UK, and I had been home for about a week when it did, so the thought was kind of lost!

.

DISNEY DAY 2!! The rest of my postcards are to family. Nanna first. I particularly love the fact you can see ‘Tomorrowland’ in the background of the photo. 🙂
